LCSA has long supported the preservation of neighborhoods, and in fact, created Maricopa County's first foreclosure intervention program 12 years ago. Our program supports low-income families who face foreclosure by providing default counseling and representation during the negotiations with their lender. During this counseling, an explanation of the process is provided to each homeowner, detailing the timelines, procedures and options that are available in their situation.
